All our ranges are made in the UK. Our Iona Celtic jewellery is hand finished at Aosdàna, cast on the mainland and hallmarked with the Scottish mark of quality at Edinburgh Assay Office. Our designers are based in Scotland, and are professionally trained silver and gold smiths who produce small batch or one off pieces created 'at the bench’ using traditional techniques.
Our Celtic silver is 100% recycled which emits less CO2 than mined silver. We are moving to using 100% AgAIN silver, AgAIN silver is guaranteed to have been recycled from NHS medical X-rays in the UK.
Some of our materials come from the beautiful Isle of Iona itself, including white marble and serpentine, or Iona greenstone as it’s known locally. We have the approval of the National Trust for Scotland to ensure the stones are ethically sourced and our use of them does not damage the historical landscape.
Our packaging is 100% recyclable card and paper and our boxes can of course also be reused.
We have made a comprehensive guide on how to care for your jewellery yourself. Check that out here.
We can also clean your jewellery. You can pop it back to us to help restore it for you. Please just package your jewellery up safely in its original box or some other sturdy packaging and post to the address above. It's best to use Royal Mail Special Delivery to send your jewellery. Remember to enclose a return address, telephone number & email address as well as a cover note detailing the repair request. Please note that all repairs take approximately about 5 -7 days for completion.

Aosdàna is proud to be part of the Edinburgh Assay Office's Assay Assured Scheme. This means that you can buy our jewellery with confidence and trust, knowing that our descriptions of precious metal content are accurate and that all of the products in the Aosdàna jewellery collection are verified independently by the Assay office in Edinburgh, through the 700 year old practice of hallmarking. We always recommend going to a jeweller for a professional true fitting, especially if this is a bespoke ring as we cannot offer a refund or exchange on these items. However, if you live in the UK please contact us and we can send you a ring sizer.
For more information on ring sizing and the conversion between different country's sizings, please see this guide.
We are always happy to advise on sizing so don’t hesitate to get in touch and remember that if the size proves incorrect, except for our bespoke custom rings, we exchange any unworn jewellery within 14 days of receipt.
We accept all major card holders (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as ShopPay and GooglePay.
