Product Description
Two spirals wind around the edges of this circular pendant. Like the highly decorative interlocking spirals found in the Book of Kells, they illustrate the eternal interconnectedness of all things, heaven and earth, sky and ocean entwined. The deep jewel blue enhances this timeless pattern and is a traditional choice of enamel for our Iona celtic jewellery.
This beautiful necklace is made from 100% recycled AgAIN silver from NHS XRays, so you can wear it knowing that it has been produced in an ethical and sustainable way.
AgAIN silver emits 2/3 less CO2 than mined silver. AgAIN Sterling Silver is top-quality silver which makes a real difference by helping hospitals to earn money from old X-rays which would normally be stored or sent to landfill, providing customers with a fully traceable and sustainable silver supply, and helping the planet by minimising AgAIN’s carbon footprint.
A Turquoise and a Winter Sea Blue/Grey enamelled version of this pendant are also available, reflecting the changing colours of the Sound of Iona.
